Chief Technology Officer

Craig joined BT Media & Broadcast in early 2008 after an extensive consulting engagement, to help lead and enhance the future development of the already extensive capabilities portfolio of BT’s Global media organisation.

At BT Media & Broadcast, Craig oversees a Global team of world class engineering and service delivery professionals, who are responsible for designing, developing and deploying BT’s market leading media solutions portfolio to its clients, world-wide.

Craig personally leads the technical development of advanced media processing capabilities and has been extensively involved with the development of BT Mosaic, a unique, best-in-class network based content processing platform utilising BT Media and Broadcast’s extensive Global Media Network.

Craig has worked in radio, television and satellite broadcast, broadband and advanced media engineering for over 27 years and gained extensive international experience over the past 15 years with executive assignments across Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining BT Media and Broadcast, Craig held the position of Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology for a major global broadband and media company.  He has also worked as Senior Technology Consultant to a number of world class, market leading media and broadcast companies specialising in the field of change management and supplier chain improvement.

Craig is married and has resided in Amsterdam for over 12 years.  He is an accomplished commercial pilot and amateur radio enthusiast and is a member of the Royal Television Society (RTS), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), and the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE).
